Job description

Duties And Responsibilities

  1. Corporate Accounting
    Demonstrated extensive experience in corporate finance, showcasing a deep and comprehensive understanding of financial processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  2. Proficient in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and maintaining integrity in financial reporting.
  3. Transaction Management
    Expertise in managing, entering, and overseeing financial transactions, including intricate bank transfers via internet banking systems.
  4. Handling foreign currency transactions with precision, efficiency, and competence in managing financial aspects of export transactions involving foreign currencies.
  5. Bookkeeping
    Dedicated to maintaining meticulous, accurate, and up-to-date bookkeeping records, ensuring that every financial transaction is recorded and reconciled properly and promptly.
  6. Ensuring that all bookkeeping practices adhere to regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  7. Financial Reporting
    Preparing detailed, insightful, and comprehensive monthly financial reports designed to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  8. Regularly preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency.
  9. Ensuring all financial reports comply with established accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  10. Providing essential financial information and support for both internal and external audits.
  11. Invoicing
    Issuing accurate and timely invoices to clients, effectively managing accounts receivable, and ensuring the prompt collection of payments.
  12. Implementing and overseeing systems to track invoicing and payments to ensure financial efficiency and accuracy.
  13. Audit Preparation
    Leading the preparation process for both external and internal audits, ensuring strict compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  14. Coordinating with auditors and providing all necessary documentation and explanations to facilitate a smooth audit process.
  15. Cash Flow Management
    Overseeing the company’s cash flow, ensuring liquidity, and managing cash reserves to maintain the financial health and stability of the organization.
  16. Monitoring and managing daily cash flow operations, ensuring that funds are available for essential business activities.
  17. Implementing strategies to optimize working capital and improve liquidity to support long-term business objectives.
  18. Financial Planning and Analysis
    Developing and managing sophisticated financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning purposes.
  19. Analyzing complex financial data and market trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  20. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess and improve the company’s financial health.
  21. Providing financial insights and strategic recommendations to support high-level decision-making.
  22. Collaborating closely with other departments to ensure financial strategies are aligned with overall business objectives and goals.
  23. Budgeting and Forecasting
    Preparing and managing the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
  24. Working with department heads to gather budget input and ensure they align with overall company goals and financial constraints.
  25. Regularly reviewing and updating forecasts based on actual performance and changes in the business environment to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  26. Risk Management
    Identifying, assessing, and developing strategies to mitigate financial risks, ensuring the safeguarding of company assets.
  27. Implementing and monitoring robust internal controls to ensure compliance and prevent financial discrepancies and fraud.
  28. Cost Management
    Analyzing costs and expenses to identify opportunities for cost reduction or efficiency improvements without compromising quality or performance.
  29. Collaborating with various departments to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives, ensuring long-term financial sustainability.
  30. Financial Compliance
    Ensuring full compliance with tax regulations, reporting requirements, and financial legislation.
  31. Staying informed about changes in financial regulations, assessing their impact on the company, and implementing necessary adjustments to remain compliant.
  32. Vendor and Stakeholder Management
    Managing relationships with external vendors and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and beneficial partnerships.
  33. Providing financial insights and strategic recommendations to support decision-making and foster strong stakeholder relationships.
  34. Collaborating with other departments to align financial strategies with the overall business objectives, ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach to financial management.

Qualifications

  1. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  2. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA).
  3. A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  4. Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to analyze complex data and generate detailed financial reports.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders.

Additional Skill Preferences

  1. Financial Modelling
    Proficiency in creating comprehensive financial models and developing forward-looking financial projections to support business planning and growth initiatives.
  2. Transfer Pricing
    Experience with transfer pricing, including documentation and compliance with international regulations.
  3. Big 4 Experience
    Prior experience working at one of the Big 4 firms, bringing a high level of expertise and best practices to the role.
