Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement the overall strategic plan for the Education Division in line with the Group’s corporate objectives.
  • Define long-term vision and direction for educational programs, ensuring sustainability and growth.
  • Stay informed of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in the education sector, ensuring the organization is proactive in adapting to industry shifts.
  • Identify and explore new business opportunities in education, both locally and internationally.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the Education Division, including academic programs, administrative functions, and support services.
  • Ensure the efficient use of resources, including budgets, staffing, and infrastructure, to meet educational and financial goals.
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor the success of programs and initiatives.

Financial Oversight:

  • Lead the development of financial strategies, including budget planning and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure sound financial management practices, cost-efficiency, and profitability of educational ventures.
  • Work with the finance team to secure funding, grants, and partnerships that align with the division’s goals.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, parents, students, and community organizations.
  • Serve as the face of the Education Division, representing Naim Group at conferences, events, and public speaking engagements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Group’s executive team to ensure alignment between education initiatives and corporate strategies.

Educational Excellence:

  • Drive the development and enhancement of high-quality educational programs, focusing on student achievement, innovation, and academic excellence.
  • Ensure that the organization meets or exceeds all educational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the academic and administrative teams.

Talent Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the leadership team within the Education Division to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and values.
  • Attract, retain, and nurture top talent within the academic and administrative workforce.
  • Oversee performance management systems to encourage professional development and accountability.

Innovation and Technology Integration:

  • Champion the integration of technology in educational programs to enhance learning outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Explore innovative teaching methods, including e-learning, to expand the division’s reach and impact.

Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure compliance with all educational regulations, accreditation standards, and governance requirements.
  • Lead risk management efforts to protect the division from potential liabilities and ensure operational continuity.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field (Ph.D. or Ed.D. preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience within the education sector, preferably with a focus on strategic management and operational oversight.
  • Proven track record of leading successful educational initiatives or institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of educational policies, accreditation, and compliance standards.
  • Experience in financial management, business development, and stakeholder engagement.
