Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Responsibilities:

1. Act as the figurative head of the organization when communicating with stockholders, government entities, and the general public.
2. Lead the development of the organization’s long- and short-term strategies.
3. Manage overall operations and make major decisions affecting the organization.
4. Manage the organization’s resources.
5. Negotiate or approve agreements and contracts for the organization.
6. Manage company organizational structure.
7. Communicate with the board of directors.
8. Assess and minimize risks to the company.
9. Set strategic goals.
10. Provide company-wide leadership.
11. Serve as the company’s primary spokesperson.
12. Identify and address company-wide problems.
13. Develop and uphold the company culture and mission/vision.
14. Implement strategic plans by working with senior stakeholders.
15. Evaluate and track the success of the company in reaching its goals.

Requirements:

1. Japanese Language Proficiency: This role requires proficiency in Japanese at the JLPT N1 level. This level of fluency is necessary to effectively communicate and handle tasks in Japanese.
2. Client Service in Japanese: The position involves servicing our Japan-based clients, and as such, it is essential that you are able to communicate professionally and fluently in Japanese.
