Job Title: Chief of Engineering

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Chief of Engineering to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in ACMV, District Cooling Systems Plant and Chiller engineering operations and leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all mechanical plant, ACMV, P&D, STP, Fire, Electrical, HT, LV systems (33kv 11kv) - planning, preventative maintenance, plant operations, tenant services.
• Manage electrical plant & facilities engineering and operations, including diesel powered generator houses, electrical substations, transformers, HV/LV switchgear, sub-switchboard systems, small power and lighting, lightning protection systems, fire alarm systems, vertical and horizontal transport systems, etc.
• Supervise human resources in the department to attract, retain and motivate personnel, hire, train and develop, empower, coach and counsel, conduct performance and salary reviews through quarterly and yearly evaluations.
• Maintain physical appearance and operational efficiency of all plant and facility.
• Ensure proper SOP and records are kept relating to all plant and equipment for the building, including repair and service records.
• Develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expenses and implement, track and champion ESG initiatives.
• Minimize downtime period of the building and facilities through engineering efforts.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in a similar Chief of Engineering role.
• Ten (10) + years' experience with ACMV, District Cooling Systems Plant and Chiller engineering operations and leadership.
• 10 + years of experience in heavy plant or high-rise building experience.
• Specialized knowledge on mechanical plant equipment, water treatment, hydraulics, mechanics, chillers, air flows, ACMV, HT, LV systems, electronics, lighting, elevators, pumps, fire services, BMS and controls.
• Capable of maintenance for all building services including air-conditioning, ventilation, electrical installation, lighting system, plumbing system, lift, fire protection, escalator, turnstiles, commercial fit out.
• Possess knowledge of government regulations and technical rules.
