Job Summary:

Lead the bakery team in producing high-quality breads, pastries, and desserts while maintaining food standards, hygiene, and creativity in presentation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily bakery operations, ensuring consistency in product quality and presentation.
  • Plan, prepare, and bake a wide variety of breads, pastries, and desserts.
  • Develop new recipes and seasonal bakery offerings to enhance guest experience.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of bakery supplies and ingredients.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise the bakery team to maintain high performance and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and F&B team to support event menus and special functions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chief Baker or Senior Baker in a hotel or high-volume bakery setting.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, artisan bread, pastry production, and dessert creation.
  • Creative, innovative, and detail-oriented in product development and presentation.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team effectively.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food safety standards, and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
