Chief Accountant

The Chief Accountant role requires strong management reporting skills, with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include liaising with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, customs officers, and regulatory bodies.

Familiarity with manufacturing business operations, products costing, and Epicor software is essential. Proficiency in the use of software is also required.

This position demands leadership skills to guide subordinates, a willingness to travel, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

• Competitive estimated annual salary: RM 180,000 - RM 220,000 (based on industry standards)
• Relevant qualifications, such as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Chief Accountant
• Significant taxation experience, preferably with a certification in Taxation (e.g., CA, ACCA)
• Active professional membership with an accounting body, such as the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) or the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
