Technical Sales Executive (Mandarin Speaker)

• Study market trends and monitor competitors’ activities.
• Manage collections from customers and maintain credit control.
• Perform other relevant duties and assignments as needed.
• Prepare work statement, required material, equipment tools, PPE, and site working permit.
• Creates E&I drawings and documentation incorporating all relevant information and pursues customer approval.
• Review documentation to assist the technical team.
• Visiting regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities.
• Assessing clients’ needs and resources and recommending appropriate goods or services.
• Developing reports and proposals as part of sales presentations to demonstrate benefits from the use of goods or services.
• New Customer Acquisition: Proactively seek out and secure new business opportunities, broadening our client base and exploring new markets.
• Accounts Receivable Management: Manage accounts receivable effectively, ensuring timely and efficient payment collection.
• Market Intelligence Reporting: Stay ahead of industry trends by gathering and reporting crucial market insights to inform our business strategies.
• Recommend and apply scalp and hair treatments based on client needs.
• Ensures scheduled maintenance and upkeep of analytical instruments such as AAS, ICP-OES, GS/MS, UV/VIS, etc.
• Implements good laboratory practices and safety by providing instruction and training to laboratory personnel as needed.
• Maintains and continues to improve the overall performance of the laboratory including quality of results, timeliness of results and specimen integrity.
• Maintain accurate service reports, documentation, and inventory of spare parts.
• Provide basic user training on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines.

Sales Engineer (Based in Penang / Johor)

• Area coverage is Johor or Penang & Kedah.
• Product development (Polymer Synthesis) including fine-tuning the synthesis process control and final product specification target.
• Responsible for new product upscaling from pilot to production stage.
• Manage laboratory administrative requirements including safety and 5S target.
• Negotiate offer conditions: price, delivery time, and payment within the predetermined frame.
• Handles orders by phone, email, or walk-in customers.
• Provide product demonstrations and technical support to clients as needed.
• Track and report sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to management.
• To work closely with Sales/Planner on the daily production schedule to meet delivery orders.
• To ensure all workers follow the safety rules and company regulations at all times.
• To participate in the marketing of the Service Department through effective promotions and customer contact to enhance the reputation of the dealership.
• To participate in the achievement of Retail, Internal, Trade, and Warranty labour sales volume, and productive efficiency to planned targets.
• To identify/find additional service work and report to the Service Manager in order to assist the department reach its financial targets.
• Partake in improvement studies and process traceability throughout the department.
• To determine and maintain material resources required for production continuity.
• Abide and enforce health and safety regulations from all production personnel.
• Isolate piping systems during plant start-up, shutdowns, grade changes, or troubleshooting.
• Adjust process parameters under the supervision of Supervisors to optimize performance.
• Support the commissioning and decommissioning of process equipment.
• Work in teams to ensure that the personal and team production performance is delivered.
• Perform routine operations (sampling, product movement, etc.) independently as required by the production schedule and in adherence to operating procedures and instructions.
• Proactively identify and report opportunities for improvement.
• Preventive, inspective and do corrective action on all equipment in the plant.
• Establish safety and waste management procedures.
• Evaluate the design according to the industry standards and regulations.
• Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders, including operations, sales, and customer service teams, to maintain high service standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of operational processes, ensuring compliance with 5S methodology, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), workplace safety, and machinery maintenance.
• Performs technical verification of batch-related recipes (POMS and DeltaV), manual operations and ad hoc manufacturing documentation.
• Provides input in the design of manufacturing recipe in DCS.
• Participate in digitalization projects and identify areas for process and operational streamlining.
