About the role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef Cook to join our dynamic team at AIK CHEONG COFFEE ROASTER SDN BHD in Melaka Tengah, Melaka. As a full-time member of our culinary team, you will play a crucial role in creating and delivering delicious, high-quality meals to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment to ensure food safety and hygiene
• Collaborating with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
• Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders for necessary ingredients and supplies
• Providing excellent customer service and responding to any special requests or dietary requirements
• Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef or cook in a similar hospitality or food service environment
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, portion control, and presentation
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes
