Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage business development aspects of Huawei’s partnerships in Malaysia, with a primary focus on sales revenue and lead generation.
  • Take lead in developing the channel plans and channel management policies for a single field or take part in the development of channel plans and channel management policies for multiple fields.
  • Independently take charge of channel partner development and management and joint marketing campaigns with channel partners in multiple fields.
  • Attain the business goals for the channel business in the respective field.
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships with CXOs of general channel partners or high-level personnel of high-value channel partners, and promote cooperation between the two parties in multiple areas.
  • The role balances sales support, partner management, and sales training with a focus on growing the sales funnel.
  • Channel sales with partners to meet and exceed set sales quotas while adhering to Huawei’s sales rules of engagement.
  • Aggressively drive partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, training, and support.
  • Work with marketing to drive programs and events to extend relationships to new prospects.
  • Manage complex enterprise solution sales with Huawei’s partners, including managing the RFP process.
  • Provide weekly reporting of pipeline and forecast.
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, and products.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, and trade shows.
  • Prepare written presentations, reports, and price quotations.
  • Define and execute partner sales plans.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • More than 2 years of relevant experience in Channel Sales Business is required for the ICT position.
  • Able to travel extensively.
  • Channel sales experience with a good network of Distributors and Channel Partners.
  • Good market knowledge (customers, competitors, suppliers, overall environment).
  • Business administration competence.
  • Preferable candidate with HCNP, HCNA, HCIE certificate.
