Redstone Commodity Search are working with Commodity Trading house looking to hire a CFO to join the team in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
Spearheading the development and execution of the group's business strategy, aligning with the CEO's vision for strong global expansion.
Ensuring peak performance in finance, treasury, accounting, and investor relations functions, taking charge of financial consolidation reviews, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Utilizing your extensive network and expertise to drive effective fundraising efforts, positioning the firm as the partner of choice for relevant business teams.
Leading the implementation of technology solutions, overseeing IT and process enhancements before the appointment of a CTO. You'll also drive monetization schemes for internal stakeholders.
Supporting the CEO in managing the Board and external stakeholders, contributing to strategic and commercial growth.
Qualifications / Experience:
Significant experience as a CFO in the commodities sector, ideally with exposure to agricultural commodities such as grain, oilseeds, coffee, cocoa, nuts, or fertilizer. Experience in metals and/or power and energy sectors is also valuable.
A proven track record of delivering outstanding results in multi-entity organizations with a global footprint.
A deep understanding of local and global reporting requirements, accounting standards, regulatory mandates, tax planning, and structuring.
Demonstrated expertise in raising funds through effective structures and familiarity with M&A processes. Your knowledge of digital technologies such as ERP systems and analytics will enable full process optimization.
Fluency in English, any additional language is beneficial.
The role is based in Singapore and requires either current residency or a willingness to relocate (preferably with PR status).
