About the role

Fintech Group Of Companies is seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our dynamic organization. As the Group CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and overseeing the financial operations of the Group Of Companies. This is a full-time position based in our headquarters in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll be doing

1. Accurately forecasting and managing the flow of funds to ensure the companies operational stability and continued investment.
2. Companies financial leader, developing and implementing financial strategies to ensure that financial objectives are aligned with overall corporate strategies.
3. Collaborate with senior management to develop effective financial plans based on a comprehensive assessment of market trends, competitive environment, and internal resources.
4. Manage the flow of capital to protect the companies normal operation and investment needs. Effectively monitor cash flow to ensure that daily operations and investment plans can be soundly advanced.
5. Responsible for coordinating financing arrangements to meet short-term and long-term capital needs.
6. Overseeing the company's financial reporting, budgeting, cost-saving, forecasting, and cash flow management.
7. Ensuring compliance within dateline to all relevant Financial Regulators, Government Bodies and Accounting Standards. Assesses and manages the companies financial risks. Identify internal and external risks factors and develop appropriate risk management strategies to ensure that the companies remain robust in an unstable environment.
8. Participate in the development of the companies investment strategies. Conducts thorough due diligence and in-depth analysis of business risks and rewards to provide key recommendations for the companies growth and expansion.
9. Internal controls and audit to ensure operation of internal control systems and safeguard the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
10. Excel in Analyzing Financial Data and Analytics and providing insights to support informed business decisions.
11. Leads the finance team, manages the finance functions, encourages teamwork, develops talent and ensures that the team contributes positively to the company's financial goals.

What we're looking for

1. A minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in a senior financial management role, within the Financial industry.
2. Proven track record of successfully leading a finance function in a complex, fast-paced environment.
3. Excellent in Data and Analytics of financial, reporting, budgeting, cost effectiveness and forecasting practices.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations and solutions.
5. Excellent in English communication and leadership skills, with ability to be team player together with stakeholders at all levels.
6. A recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
