Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

This is an exciting opportunity to be a strategic leader to help a budding IT Services and IT Consulting set up operations in Malaysia with lofty expansion plans within the region. The candidate should have the will to disrupt the new niche on the market. A good C-level networking among local manufacturing companies in Malaysia is a plus.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a manager (C-level as a plus)
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and government reporting
• In-depth knowledge of corporate governance
• Fluent in English
• Good communication skills
• Good organizational and administrative skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset (as a plus)
• Problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

• Local company issues (accounting / budgeting / financial and tax reporting)
• Company HR policy + enrollment processes / salary payout / travel planning
• Company compliance (GDPR, trademark, customer policy, employee policy)
• Communication with customers / suppliers in order to sign contracts
• Communication with a bank (bank account management)
• Communication with the local professional community (including local government)
• Administration issues (office rent / employees’ accounts / company accounts’ passwords / laptops and device ensuring, travel costs)
• Local office issues (office manager supervising to maintain a clean and presentable office, internet access, food)
• Local company LinkedIn account management
• Local company website content management
