C# Software Development Intern

Seagate’s Global Factory Information Technology (GFIT) organization is a global team with resources around our high-tech manufacturing sites located in the United States, Asia, and Northern Ireland. We’re a global organization servicing the IT needs of R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing and Equipment management for Seagate Global Factory. The Penang GFIT team is a key development hub that provides world class application development and solutions with cutting edge technology. Our team embraces Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), a popular framework that improves project delivery, decreases time-to-market, and increases stakeholder value. Our team is one of the pioneers to adapt various tools and languages striving toward IT 4.0.

About the role - you will:

1. Work closely with highly skilled developer and motivated multi-site Agile team on the project assigned.
2. Work in a very collaborative global environment.
3. This role involves the analysis, design, development and implementation of backend C# application.
4. Involved in research, functional analysis, design, documentation, coding.
5. Develop well designed, testable, efficient code by using industry standard software development practices.
6. Collaboration among team members, Scrum Master and Product Owner.

About you:

Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern technologies.

Passionate in coding with following programming languages: .NET C#, Oracle, SQL.

Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills.

Driven to grow and receive mentorship in our specific tech stack.

A successful candidate should have strong teamwork qualities as well as communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Your experience includes:

• Currently an undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.

You May Also Have:

• Hands-on background representing a multinational corporation.
• Worked with larger scale corporations.

Our Penang office is located in Suntech at Cybercity. Easily accessible from two bus stops, many employees take mass-transportation to work. Ample free on-site parking is also available.
