Mccorry (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd – Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

The position is an integral part of the Business Unit and contributes & takes responsibility for the Business Unit’s performance and results.

The Sales Support is overall responsible in the two main areas of the workflow covering Documentation and Logistics (overseas shipments).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AREA:

  • To co-ordinate and manage Documentation & Logistics for the BU.
  • To follow up on Sales Inquiries, monitor all orders placed in purchasing, and ensure they are shipped, delivered, and invoiced to customers accordingly.
  • Update buyers weekly on their orders.
  • To liaise with the Quality Assurance Business Partner on production progress & arrange for cargo inspection where necessary.
  • To ensure all export documents are obtained and accurately prepared on time.
  • Liaise with the Finance Department for financing/payment where necessary.
  • Ensure shipments are insured as per SOP.
  • Logistics: Monitor vessel arrival. Ensure all import documents & releases are accurately prepared and sent to the Customs Broker for declaration prior to vessel arrival at Destination Port.
  • Arrange for trucking, issue releases to move cargo to the respective warehouses, if applicable.
  • Verify service provider bills and pass to the Accounts Department for payment.
  • To ensure proper flow of documents and information to other departments.
  • To attend to operational problems and provide assistance where necessary.
  • Any other responsibilities assigned to you from time to time.
  • To prepare a document checklist for the weekly Business Unit’s meeting.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preferably at least 1 year of working experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Able to communicate effectively and are not afraid to raise concerns.
  • Self-driven, enthusiastic, and passionate.
  • Must possess a high level of integrity.
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and ready to take up challenges.
  • Resourceful, efficient, able to work independently, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English is part of the requirement. Proficiency in Mandarin is a MUST.
  • Good in mathematics and calculation.
  • Willing to work extra hours (if applicable).
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel) and knowledge of ERP systems is a definite advantage.
