We are currently looking for a dynamic Business Manager, Equipment Finance for our BMW Financial Services Malaysia Business. The role will be based in our Equipment Financing Unit in Johor Bahru to drive BMW's financial services business. This role will be the key person in delivering sales targets & driving sales activities for equipment financing within the region. The role will require the person to build relationships with SMEs & equipment vendors in efforts to create business opportunities & leads generation. Key accountabilities:
- Primarily responsible for delivering Sales targets and KPIs. Sales oriented and executes the necessary sales activities towards the achievement of the sales budget.
- To enhance and maintain equipment vendor relationships to improve business opportunities and leads generation.
- To prepare loan submission of customer applications – from data input, uploading of documents, response to credit acceptance (CA) comments/clarifications for application status and approval.
- To issue letters of undertaking to vendors, preparation of loan agreement execution, and to ensure HP agreement and documents are properly executed.
- Contact settlement associates for documentation & funding of approved loans.
- Accountable for FIS e-hakmilik registration process for New and Used Commercial vehicles, material handling equipment.
- Collection of information as required for Credit Assessment and forward to New Business Team.
- Advising customers of the results of Credit Assessment and negotiating new terms if required.
- Cross selling corporate programmes to equipment finance customers to promote BMW brand and ultimately car sales.
An ideal candidate should possess:
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related disciplines.
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience in Sales or Financial Services.
- Hands-on experience in MS Office tools, primarily on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong command of English (written & verbal), coupled with a disciplined work ethic and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Mandarin or any Chinese Dialect is required.
- Knowledge in Equipment Financing, financial services products, or credit risk management would be preferred.
- Highly collaborative and feedback oriented, able to challenge the status quo and provide solutions on efficiencies where possible.
