As a Business Intelligence (BI) Associate in the SeaMoney / ShopeePay team, you will play a key role in analyzing data, building reports, and providing actionable insights to optimize financial services, digital payments, and fintech strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance decision-making processes, improve operational efficiency, and drive user growth.

Key Responsibilities
Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to generate insights for business and operational teams.
Develop, maintain, and automate dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital payment transactions, user adoption, and financial operations.
Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Product, Risk, Compliance, Marketing, and Operations teams) to support data-driven decision-making.
Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement in payment performance, fraud detection, and user engagement.
Assist in A/B testing, data modeling, and predictive analytics for fintech initiatives.
Support the optimization of payment flows, merchant onboarding, and financial processes through data insights.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and governance while improving data collection and processing frameworks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field, with availability to start work full-time in 2025.
0-2 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or fintech (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and visualize complex data.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, or Looker.
Knowledge of Python or R for data analytics and modeling is a plus.
Understanding of digital payments, financial services, or fintech industry trends is a plus.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
