Business Development Specialist (Electrical Products)

What are my responsibilities?

1. Build and maintain strong sales and marketing relationship and influence within the project ecosystem, that comprises of the End-User, Specifier, Contractor and Project Delivery Partner (PDP).
2. Have a pro-active pre-sales approach which includes projects follow up, project pipeline creation and sustainability in order to build strong business opportunities and demands.
3. Have a pro-active post-sales approach through follow up of the deliverability of the on-going projects order & product in order to create additional business opportunities from customers.
4. Account ownership and management of the Project Delivery Partner (PDP) to ensure order and sales forecast, project pipeline creation and management, stock availability and their internal sales competency are achieved.
5. Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities.

What do I need to qualify for the role?

1. Proven ability to support and work with Specifier, Contractor and Project Delivery Partner (PDP) to deliver and complete a project life cycle.
2. Proven track record in project opportunity creation and management in Data Centre field.
3. Ability to conduct presentation and training to every level of an organization, including C-level.
4. Excellent influencing and persuasion skills.
5. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
6. Strong independent worker and customer service oriented, who is able to maintain regular contact with sales support teams and management from a distance.
7. Knowledge in Low Voltage products is an added advantage.
8. Flexible to travel for work purposes.
