In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) identifies and pursues new business opportunities, leveraging deep expertise in their product or application portfolio. BDMs engage with customer experts and decision-makers, positioning the value of our offerings and managing specific opportunities to ensure effective product positioning and customer satisfaction.
Opportunity Identification: Identify and pursue new business opportunities for assigned products or solutions, independently and with the Flow Measurement Products (FMP) team.
Customer Engagement: Coordinate with the FMP team to establish relationships with customer collaborators. Lead technical discussions and provide experienced knowledge to solve customer problems.
Product Expertise: Maintain an in-depth understanding of our products and how they address customer needs.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and the competitive landscape. Advise product development and marketing strategies.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets. Produce monthly forecasts and supervise performance against budget.
Collaboration: Work with account managers and internal teams to develop strategic plans for key accounts. Align product offerings with market demand.
Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
