We are partnering with a Corporate Finance & Investment Banking (Banking & Financial Services) company . A dynamic and innovative tech company from Germany. They are currently seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager – APAC (Secure Communications) to join the team.

Job Description :

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify key market segments, trends, and competitive dynamics in the APAC region.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to penetrate target markets and drive sales growth.
  • Formulate and execute a business development strategy for secure communication solutions in the APAC market.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in government, enterprise, and sectors requiring secure communication.
  • Pursue new business opportunities with government agencies, defense organizations, law enforcement entities, and large enterprises.
  • Lead the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Conduct market research, identify potential clients, and develop tailored sales pitches and proposals.
  • Collaborate with technology integrators, channel partners, and resellers to expand market reach and enhance distribution channels.
  • Develop joint marketing and sales initiatives to promote secure messenger technology.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product development for seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their specific needs and challenges related to secure communication.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication, proactive support, and timely issue resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in the security and defense sectors.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term strategies and initiatives to achieve business objectives in the APAC region.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to guide product development and marketing strategies.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, or related discipline); advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management roles, preferably in the security, defence, or technology industries.
  • Proven success in building and managing sales pipelines, closing complex deals, and exceeding sales targets.
  • Extensive network and established relationships with key stakeholders in the government, military, law enforcement, and corporate sectors across the APAC region.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory; proficiency in Indonesian and Thai is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the secure communications.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the APAC region.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
