Business Development Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to drive sales and maximize revenue streams, including ticketing, corporate events, sponsorships, and group sales.
• Identify, negotiate, and maintain partnerships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate clients, and other key stakeholders to enhance visitor footfall.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and new business opportunities to stay ahead of competitors.
• Design and implement effective sales campaigns, promotions, and loyalty programs tailored to different customer segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies, sponsors, and local businesses.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
• Oversee the business development budget and ensure cost-effective strategies for business growth.
• Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably in the theme park, tourism, or hospitality sector.
• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or other dialects), Bahasa Melayu and English.
• Strong understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive analysis.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools.
