To develop new customers and grow existing portfolio customers' revenue to achieve department quality objectives and personal KPI in accordance with marketing programs by identifying customer needs and providing business solutions.
Sales Programs Excellence:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to meet and exceed targets for new and existing customers.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics sector.
On-time Account Receivable Collections:
Provide on-time follow-up service and support with the finance department on a weekly basis ensuring prompt repayment of customer accounts.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and facilitate outstanding customer relationship programs via visiting programs, timely response to enquiries, disputes, troubleshooting, and customer complaints.
Database Management:
All customer information and sales activities shall be planned, recorded, and updated timely in the ERP system and Customer Relationship Management on a daily basis.
Requirements:
Education, Background & Experience: Diploma/Degree in Logistics/Transportation/CILT/Mass Communication/Business Admin or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of sales & marketing experience in logistics or freight forwarding industry with high acknowledgment and compliments from customers on job commitments.
Must possess own transport and be willing to travel extensively as necessary.
Communication Sales Skills & Other Attributes:
Strong communication skills in Mandarin (preferably but not compulsory), English, and Bahasa Malaysia. Proven ability to achieve sales results in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
Customer-focused with a solutions mindset. Naturally outspoken, positive thinking, and self-motivated personality.
Good values of integrity, hard work, humility, and carrying high responsibility in work.
Professional Skills:
Able to practice duties and responsibilities in accordance with systems and work processes. Be proactive, with strong interpersonal and multitasking abilities.
Able to work independently under pressure and sustain demanding work environments with a positive mindset. High urgency for meeting task deadlines.
Tech-Savvy:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Logistics ERP system, and CRM systems.
