We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales / Business Development Executive to join our team. This role involves both domestic and international travel to attend industry exhibitions, expos, and networking events. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our customer base, building relationships, sourcing quality vendors and suppliers, and achieving defined sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth: Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue potential clients to increase the company’s market share and revenue.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction levels and repeat business.
Exhibitions & Networking: Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and expos, representing the company and generating new business leads.
Vendor & Supplier Sourcing: Research and secure high-quality vendors and suppliers to enhance our product offerings and improve pricing.
KPI & Sales Target Achievement: Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by the company.
Customer Needs Analysis: Understand clients' specific requirements to offer tailored solutions, improving client satisfaction and conversion rates.
Sales Presentations & Demos: Conduct presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of our products and services.
Negotiation & Closing Deals: Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales effectively to maximize revenue.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and client needs to refine sales strategies and meet market demands.
Reporting & Forecasting: Generate regular reports on sales performance, pipelines, and forecasts to provide actionable insights for strategic planning.
Number of new accounts and client retention rates.
Number of quality leads generated from networking and events.
Customer satisfaction scores.
Efficiency in managing vendor relationships and sourcing quality suppliers.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum [insert experience requirement, e.g., 2+ years] in sales, business development, or related roles. Experience in international sales is advantageous.
Skills:
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Goal-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, adaptable to diverse cultures.
Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Comfortable with extensive travel, including overseas trips.
Other Requirements: Valid passport and willingness to travel frequently.
Language Proficiency: Both writing and speaking – Chinese, Malay & English. Mandarin speaker is a must as need to deal with China clients regularly.
