BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE – EVENT SPACE

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Business Development Executive to grow and manage our corporate portfolio.

You will be the key liaison for corporate venue rentals, ensuring seamless coordination between clients, the Venue Manager, and the Operations team. Our Team is a privately owned performing arts venue located in 1 Utama Shopping Mall, Bandar Utama. Our facilities include a proscenium theatre, an experimental theatre/event space, and multiple rehearsal studios. These versatile spaces cater to performing arts as well as corporate events, offering convenience with additional services such as catering.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage corporate venue rental partnerships.
• Serve as the main point of contact for corporate clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate event logistics with internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Drive revenue growth through proactive business development efforts.
• Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and reports for corporate clients.

Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Arts Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate event management or business development within the arts or hospitality industry.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional and engaging demeanour.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proven negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
• Familiarity with corporate event and conference markets.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Passion for the performing arts and understanding of the cultural sector is a plus.
