Business Development Executive

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to drive growth in Sabah's hospitality sector. This full-time role based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah will be responsible for driving new business growth and identifying opportunities across the region. What you'll be doing

• Proactively prospecting and sourcing new business leads within the sales industry
• Building and managing a pipeline of high-quality prospects through cold calling, networking, and maintaining strong relationships
• Conducting detailed market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends
• Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients
• Collaborating cross-functionally with the sales and marketing teams to support lead generation and conversion efforts
• Ensuring a seamless transition of new clients to the account management team

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of success in a new business development role, preferably within the sales industry
• 2+ years in business development or sales (hospitality experience a plus)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers
• Highly motivated and driven to succeed with a consultative selling approach
• Able to travel outstation (when needed)
• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
