Business Development Executive

About the role

Avante Design (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing new sales opportunities for our innovative design solutions.

What you'll be doing

1. Proactively identify and qualify new business leads through networking, industry events and cold-calling
2. Engage with potential clients to understand their design needs and present our products and services
3. Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations
4. Negotiate contracts and close sales deals within agreed targets and timelines
5. Maintain a strong pipeline of sales activities and regularly report on progress
6. Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop and execute effective sales strategies
7. Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in the design or related industry
2. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients
3. Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of successful sales
4. Proficient in using sales tools and CRM systems to manage the sales pipeline
5. Highly motivated, proactive and able to work independently to achieve sales goals
6. Degree in Business, Marketing or a relevant field is preferred
