Business Development Analyst

Cube, a market analytics start-up focused on e-commerce, is searching for an ambitious and driven candidate for a special entry-level role focused on Business Development and Sales.

In this role, you will work closely with Cube's co-founder and commercial leader to grow Cube's enterprise subscription business with some of the world's leading companies as clients.

The role will encompass activities such as lead generation, meeting preparation, proposal building, participation in sales meetings with C-level stakeholders, and improving business processes.

The role will include significant exposure to senior business leaders and opportunities for business travel in Southeast Asia on a roughly monthly basis. The role comes with significant opportunities for growth and rapid career advancement for the right motivated candidate.

This is a special opportunity for an entry-level candidate with demonstrated excellence from education, internships, and/or extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities

1. Create and execute lead nurturing strategies for high-priority companies, including tactics such as segmented emails, organizing small events, and scheduling regular in-person meetings.
2. Play a key role in preparation for sales meetings and proposal building, including shaping templates and standard operating procedures for recurring activities.
3. Identify new growth opportunities for Cube's market data and insights offerings, including potential product innovations arising from client and lead feedback.
4. Maintain consistency in sales approaches, sales reporting, and other processes related to Business Development and Sales.

1. Demonstrated excellence from university and/or extracurriculars.
2. Internship or early work experience from fast-paced and selective professional environments is a plus.
3. Strong quantitative and analytical skills; likes to work with numbers.
4. High degree of ambition and drive; willingness to work hard to learn and grow quickly.
5. Excellent written and verbal English skills.
