Business Analyst (Software)

A proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst at CXS Analytics collaborates with Data Scientists and cross-functional teams to drive detailed requirements analysis, process documentation, and user acceptance testing. In this role, you will translate complex business needs into clear, actionable insights, ensuring our innovative talent optimization solutions continually evolve. Your analytical mindset and exceptional communication skills will help bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, contributing to our success in delivering high-quality outcomes.

What you'll be doing

1. Interacting with customers and market to understand their needs, translating the requirements into product features; writing product specifications and managing the product backlog.
2. Giving directions to solution team preparing solutions for building new product features.
3. Closely interacting with engineers and unblocking without any delay and highlighting the risk to stakeholders.
4. Create detailed use cases, business requirements, and marketing requirements.
5. Coordinate the collection, description, analysis and prioritization of requests for new product functionality from the customer.
6. Coordinating with internal stakeholders including the development, Quality Analysis and Product Support teams.
7. Perform UAT and product demonstration sessions to the client and end users.

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in performing BA activities for enterprise software with business workflows and business rules.
2. Requirements elicitation using appropriate techniques, through sustained interactions with business team and users.
3. Good experience working in Agile development projects/Agile Product development projects is required.
4. Good experience in preparing BRD and SRS.
5. Good experience working on user stories and product backlogs with JIRA, TFS, or any other agile tools is a must.
6. Knowledge of the Malaysian education and employment system would be an added advantage.
7. Experience working with Malaysian clients would be an added advantage.
8. You need to be creative at conceiving product solutions that allow end users to use our product more efficiently in their daily usage.
9. You must have excellent skills for working in cross-functional teams of Software Development, Quality Assurance, and Product Support.
