Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and document business requirements to ensure clarity and accuracy.
• Model business processes and identify areas for potential improvement to optimize efficiency.
• Assess current and proposed solutions to highlight issues, risks, and benefits, and outline their business impacts.
• Develop detailed functional specifications for proposed solutions.
• Simplify complex information and translate technical terms for easy understanding across the team.
• Implement and test solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Prepare and update internal and external documentation, and oversee the formal initiation and delivery of requirements.
• Conduct meetings and presentations to share insights, ideas, and findings with stakeholders.
• Provide training sessions for internal teams and external clients to ensure smooth adoption of solutions.
• Collaborate closely with clients, technical teams, and managerial staff to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years working experience as a Business Analyst in the IT / FinTech industry. Experience working in the cards/payments industry will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding Java and Cobol code is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend Linux/Unix scripts.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems, including performing basic commands.
• Able to write simple SQL queries to retrieve data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
