Act as the primary liaison between the business stakeholder (external or internal client) and the technical team (product owner).
Conduct in-depth requirement gathering sessions (specifically on data mapping and functionalities) with business stakeholders to understand their needs. Analyze these requirements to produce clear and concise Functional Design Specifications (FDS) for usage by the technical team during development/customization of Reg Reporting.
Document logical designs covering Data Models, Functional, and UI/UX designs.
Able to work independently with technical teams to ensure development covers comprehensive business requirements.
Prepare data verifications template for business stakeholders for SIT/UAT.
Document SIT/UAT test plan, test scripts.
Manage end-to-end defect management.
Perform final sanity test prior to start of UAT with business stakeholders.
Support business stakeholders during UAT and ORT.
Provide ongoing support and clarification throughout the project lifecycle specifically for business requirements.
Proactively identify potential issues and recommend effective solutions.
Regulatory Reporting Operations
To assess new regulatory requirements, plan and execute change (where required).
To assess and manage internal requirements/processes/solutions to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
To continuously review, recommend and implement improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency in procedures, processes, quality of solutions/systems in the area of regulatory reporting.
Regulatory Reporting BPO
To ensure that regulatory reports are prepared accurately and submitted on a timely basis in accordance with regulatory requirements prescribed by the regulators for the BPO client(s) by performing:
Data checks – perform verifications against source data and escalate any data quality issues to BPO clients.
Data operations – perform amendments/enrichments where required and ensure comprehensiveness of data to be submitted to the regulator.
Data reconciliation – perform end-day/month/quarter balance checks across source, control reports, cross systems to ensure data accuracy and consistencies.
Daily dashboard updates to client on the status of submission operations.
Contribute data or required info to client’s management update on regulatory reporting.
Job Requirements
Relevant Working Experience:
0-3 years experience (accept recently graduated candidates).
Experience in client-facing roles or customer service or business development.
Experience in regulatory reporting/middle office of banks/financial institutions/payment system operators.
