Role: Business Analyst

Location: Penang, Malaysia

Required Technical Skill Set:

Must have skills:

1. Knowledge of contract manufacturing domain, ADO, Story creation in ADO.
2. Industry/ functional/ digital knowledge.
3. Probing skills, Strategic Thinking: Understanding of the domain.
4. Business management – stakeholder management.
5. Consulting projects: business analysis, process diagrams, value stream maps.
6. Experience in software products / technology: business requirement analysis for products and Ux.
7. Thought Leadership & Innovation: Proactive- Ability to come up with ideas for improvement.
8. Ability to deliver requirements in an agile approach.
9. Excellent communication skills (Mandarin and English).

Good to have skills:

1. Manufacturing knowledge (Contract Manufacturing domain)

Main Responsibilities / Duties:

1. Works with the Jabil Global business team to identify new capability that requires IT input. Understands the needs and translates this to a set of IT requirements.
2. Working with the Product owner, Tower team to complete a discovery phase to get to a full impact assessment.
3. Works with the Jabil Global business functions to understand their business strategic & roadmap and ensures that the associated IT elements in the delivery plan is aligned.
4. Works with Scrum team for specific sprints ensuring resolution of functional impediments and support completion of sprint goals.
5. Collaborates with wider IT teams i.e. security, Software Asset Management etc to ensure that enterprise standards are adhered to in the workstreams.
6. Identifies and defines elements to be brought into the BAU operations and works with business and IT team to agree support model requirements.
7. Elicit explicit and implicit needs of stakeholders (users of the product / solution).
8. Facilitate communication between various functions in the organisation and drive cross-functional synergies.
9. Document the requirements in the form of process flows, SIPOC, Epics, User stories etc.
10. Plan and monitor the business analysis work, including timing plan, identifying stakeholders, selecting the right business analysis tools and techniques.
11. Analyse the requirements and establish the linkage to testing, KPIs.
12. Define non-functional requirements like performance or security as appropriate.
13. Provide input to technology, platform, and product roadmaps based on deep insights from global industry developments.
14. Help in conducting system, performance and user acceptance testing.
