Bus Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and caring Bus Assistant to ensure student safety and well-being during their bus rides. This role involves assisting students with boarding and alighting, taking attendance, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining order on the bus. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and proactive in ensuring student welfare.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free bus.
2. Assist students with safe boarding and seating.
3. Take attendance via the school system portal.
4. Verify student count matches the registered name list.
5. Ensure students remain seated with seatbelts fastened.
6. Monitor and manage student behaviour.
7. Enforce school transportation policies and routes.
8. Prioritize student safety and follow emergency procedures.
9. Communicate transport-related concerns with the office.
10. Report behavioural issues, injuries, or safety concerns.

Key Requirements

1. Female candidate only.
2. Ability to remain calm and follow safety protocols in emergencies.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Patience, attentiveness, and a caring attitude toward children.
5. Punctual and reliable.
6. Must be able to speak English.

Working Hours

1. Morning: 6:15 AM - 7:40 AM
2. Afternoon: 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Remuneration
RM50/day
