Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician

Department: Maintenance

Location: Johor Bahru

Reports To: Building Manager

Summary:

The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's equipment, systems, and grounds. This includes troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; performing preventative maintenance; and cleaning and maintaining the facility. The Technician must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and must be able to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

1. Inspect and maintain the facility's equipment, systems, and grounds
2. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
3. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems
4. Clean and maintain the facility
5. Order parts and supplies as needed
6. Follow safety procedures
7. Assist with other facility maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or repair role
3. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles
4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Ability to follow safety procedures

Desired Qualifications:

1. Associate's degree in a related field
2. 3+ years of experience in a maintenance or repair role
3. Experience with specific equipment or systems
4. Experience with preventative maintenance programs
5. Strong communication and customer service skills
