Job Summary
To strategize, innovate develop and roll out new mobile products and services that will generate positive revenue and differentiate U mobile's service offerings from other service providers. Portfolio includes:
Business enabling products (USIM, vouchers, top up channels)
Insurance services
Loyalty platform and services
VAS products & services
The Day-To-Day Activities
To strategize, identify, source and evaluate new products to meet market demand.
Understand and identify the market needs based on market insights.
Translating the analysis result into the conceptualization of new products & services.
Benchmark with industry offerings and drive for differentiation and competitiveness.
Develop products as per specifications and establish product policies and best practices.
Lead development of user requirement definition and analysis activities, which include facilitating requirements gathering meetings, writing functional requirements, documenting details of user needs for developing new products/services.
Develop detailed functional specifications that clearly define the business needs, benefits, and deliverables of a project based on user business requirements from product managers/owners.
To project manage and lead the cross-functional team to roll out new products in a timely manner.
Lead the product development of new products/services from concept, business casing, detailed specs, design, implementation, to RFS.
Determine project, product or service feasibility, cost and time estimates and impact on current and proposed systems.
Develop project plans and manage cross-functional resources to meet project deadlines.
Involved in testing activities, which includes executing and running the test cases, documenting and submitting issues to the technical team for rectification.
To ensure existing products/services are improved and optimized.
Upon once service or product rollout, maintain product continuous improvement in processes to achieve better cost structures, better service and user experience.
About You
BA in marketing, MBA
At least 10 years direct experience in product marketing, preferably in telco environment.
