Brand Manager and Performance Marketing Executive

Responsibilities:

  1. Craft and execute bold, innovative brand strategies that align with Koppiku’s vision and business goals, positioning the brand as a challenger in the market.
  2. Ensure Koppiku’s brand identity remains consistent and impactful across all touchpoints - online, in-store, and beyond.
  3. Collaborate with HR to shape and execute employer branding strategies that establish Koppiku as a top destination for talented individuals.
  4. Lead and mentor a small team of creatives, content creators, and social media specialists, inspiring them to deliver standout work that resonates with our audience.
  5. Oversee the creation of marketing assets from concept to execution, ensuring that all materials align with brand strategy and hit the mark in terms of quality and effectiveness.
  6. Collaborate with key internal teams (marketing, operations, HR) and external stakeholders to ensure cross-functional alignment and smooth execution of initiatives.
  7. Roll up your sleeves when needed: help write copy, shoot videos, brainstorm ideas, or sketch concepts to bring campaigns to life.
  8. Serve as a culture champion by fostering a positive, collaborative atmosphere that encourages creativity and innovation within the team.
  9. Set the tone and strategy for all social media content, ensuring our brand presence is fresh, engaging, and true to Koppiku’s voice.
  10. Guide the team to create campaigns that stop the scroll, spark conversations, and build deep connections with our community.
  11. Stay ahead of trends and emerging platforms to ensure Koppiku’s social media presence remains forward-thinking and relevant.
  12. Develop and lead influencer marketing strategies, building authentic partnerships that align with our brand’s values and goals.
  13. Create frameworks to ensure smooth, impactful influencer collaborations and track campaign performance to continually improve results.
  14. Bring the Koppiku experience to life through exciting events, activations, and partnerships that amplify our brand and engage our customers.
  15. Work with cross-functional teams to plan and execute brand activations, ensuring seamless coordination and flawless delivery.
  16. Measure the success of brand experiences and use insights to refine and enhance future activations.
  17. Define clear KPIs for all marketing initiatives, track performance, and continuously optimize efforts to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  18. Leverage data and insights to make informed decisions, staying ahead of trends and keeping Koppiku in tune with customer preferences.
  19. Perform other related duties/tasks as assigned by superior/management.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma/ Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 7 years of experience in a Brand, Account Servicing, or Strategic Planning role.
  3. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Excellent presentation, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
  5. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a creative team.
  6. Data-savvy, with the ability to turn numbers into strategies that work.
  7. A valuable team player and able to work independently.
  8. Computer literate with good command of both written and spoken English and Malay.
  9. Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  10. Possess own transport and willing to travel.

Performance Marketing Executive:

As a Performance Marketing Executive at Koppiku, you will play a critical role in driving measurable growth and customer acquisition, especially as we prepare to launch our new coffee ordering app. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for optimising paid media strategies, enhancing digital customer engagement, and ensuring the app achieves strong adoption and retention.

Performance Marketing Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, execute, and optimise paid campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and app-specific channels.
  2. Focus on app install campaigns to drive user acquisition, targeting relevant audiences effectively.
  3. Conduct A/B testing for ad creatives, targeting, and formats to maximise ROI.
  4. Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to develop a go-to-market strategy for the app launch.
  5. Design and execute app-specific campaigns to drive downloads, activations, and user engagement.
  6. Implement app store optimisation (ASO) strategies to improve app discoverability and rankings.
  7. Monitor app marketing performance metrics, such as cost-per-install (CPI), retention rates, and lifetime value (LTV).
  8. Develop strategies to retain app users through personalised push notifications, in-app messaging, and retargeting campaigns.
  9. Work with the content team to design loyalty programs and exclusive app offers to enhance user retention.
  10. Leverage analytics tools to track and optimise app performance metrics.
  11. Provide regular reports on campaign performance, app download trends, and user retention rates, with actionable recommendations.
  12. Manage SEM campaigns, including keyword research, bid management, and ad copy optimisation.
  13. Collaborate with the content team to improve organic traffic to the app’s landing pages.
  14. Optimise the app’s onboarding flow and landing pages to enhance conversion rates and user experience.
  15. Stay informed about digital marketing trends, particularly those related to app marketing and mobile-first strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
  2. 5 years of experience in performance marketing, with expertise in app marketing and paid media management.
  3. Hands-on experience with app analytics platforms.
  4. Proficiency in Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other performance marketing tools.
  5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  6. Knowledge of ASO, SEO/SEM, and CRO principles.
  7. Excellent problem-solving and time-management abilities.
