About the role
We are seeking a creative and strategic Brand & Communications Manager to join our team and drive the development and execution of our brand identity and communication strategies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for design, and a deep understanding of digital marketing channels. They will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand narrative, enhancing brand awareness, and fostering meaningful connections with our target audience.
Your key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive brand and communication strategies that align with the company's objectives and target audience
- Lead the development and maintenance of the brand identity, including brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and visual assets
- Manage all aspects of external communications, including press releases, media relations, and public relations initiatives
- Develop and curate a comprehensive calendar of brand activation and outreach initiatives
- Create compelling content for various channels, including website, social media, email newsletters, and marketing collateral
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and initiatives
- Monitor and analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities and optimise strategies
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including media partners, influencers, and industry organisations
- Plan and oversee the execution of brand campaigns, thought leaderships, and events to promote brand awareness and engagement
- Track and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
The ideal candidate
- Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Proven experience in brand building and management, communications, or marketing roles, preferably in education or technology industry
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for storytelling and crafting compelling narratives
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and content management systems
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing techniques is desirable
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot) preferred
- Creative flair and a passion for design, with proficiency in graphic design software would be a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Self-starter, creative, digitally savvy and works well in a start-up culture
