About the role

We are seeking a creative and strategic Brand & Communications Manager to join our team and drive the development and execution of our brand identity and communication strategies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for design, and a deep understanding of digital marketing channels. They will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand narrative, enhancing brand awareness, and fostering meaningful connections with our target audience.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand and communication strategies that align with the company's objectives and target audience
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the brand identity, including brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and visual assets
  • Manage all aspects of external communications, including press releases, media relations, and public relations initiatives
  • Develop and curate a comprehensive calendar of brand activation and outreach initiatives
  • Create compelling content for various channels, including website, social media, email newsletters, and marketing collateral
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and initiatives
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities and optimise strategies
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including media partners, influencers, and industry organisations
  • Plan and oversee the execution of brand campaigns, thought leaderships, and events to promote brand awareness and engagement
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

The ideal candidate

  • Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Proven experience in brand building and management, communications, or marketing roles, preferably in education or technology industry
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for storytelling and crafting compelling narratives
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and content management systems
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing techniques is desirable
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot) preferred
  • Creative flair and a passion for design, with proficiency in graphic design software would be a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Self-starter, creative, digitally savvy and works well in a start-up culture
