Overview Digile’s Infrastructure Lifecycle Practice team is currently looking for a BIM Modeler with a blend of strong skill sets as requested in the section below, a strong passion and background in building, civil engineering, or construction industry.
The main job responsibility of BIM Modeler is to develop BIM models based on the project needs, understand the project specifications, and deliver quality BIM modeling outcomes on time. Besides, conduct quality checks on the BIM deliverables, attend, and contribute to BIM Coordination Meetings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
BIM Modeling and perform QA / QC checks using BIM software tools.
Generate project-specific custom families and BIM templates as needed.
Produce drawings from BIM models.
Generate Quantity reports and schedule simulation.
Develop 3D rendering, visualization, and animation (walk-through) when required.
Develop 4D BIM models.
Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned.
Monitor/check for any dashing.
Report to the Manager/Engineer in charge and perform work tasks assigned.
Experience
4-6 years of experience working in BIM as a BIM modeler.
Experience in working on BIM modeling work for civil and highway projects will be a plus.
Experience with Bentley ProjectWise will be a plus.
Experience in developing BIM models in LOD100 – 500.
Skills
Ability to understand Civil/Structure drawings is essential.
Experience in Autodesk AEC Collections (Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks) and Bentley Open Roads is an added advantage.
Understanding CAD & Engineering industry knowledge is an advantage.
Able to meet tight deadlines and work independently or in a group.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Strong self-discipline and punctuality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay.
