Job Responsibilities:

• Open and close doors of vehicles that arrive at the hotel or departing from the hotel
• Greet all guests arriving to the hotel
• Bid farewell to all departing guests
• Load and unload luggage of all guests from and onto respective vehicles
• Handle baggage for storage in the baggage-store room
• Handle baggage during a room change
• Deliver baggage to guests' rooms
• Operate guest elevators when required
• Deliver mail, messages, and parcels to guests' rooms
• Deliver newspapers to guests' rooms and executive offices
• Page for guests when instructed
• Explain room facilities upon check-in
• Accept errands from guests if required
• Maintain records of:
• Group baggage sent to rooms
• Expected time of arrivals and departures, number of persons, and exact number of baggage
• Maintain the Banquet Function notice board in the lobby area
• Arrange transportation for guests as and when required
• Have a good knowledge of the hotel and city to promote these facilities as and when required
• Assist guests in every way possible
• Check mini-bar items upon guest check-in or check-out
• Maintain storeroom in an orderly and tidy fashion
• Other duties assigned by the Front Office Manager
• Required to perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
