BARISTA / KITCHEN CREW / HOUSEKEEPING CREW

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages to customers, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency. In addition to coffee preparation, baristas are expected to create a welcoming environment, manage customer orders, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

The Kitchen Crew is responsible for assisting in preparing ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meat, and portioning out food. You will help with the setup of cooking stations and ensure that all necessary ingredients and tools are available. Depending on the role, you may be responsible for cooking or assisting chefs in preparing menu items according to recipes or customer orders. You will operate kitchen equipment, such as grills, fryers, ovens, and stovetops.

The Housekeeping Crew Member is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities in the establishment. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring a pleasant, clean, and safe environment for guests.

Job Requirements

Barista

  • Proven experience as Barista to prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages in accordance with customer preferences.
  • Provide friendly and prompt service to customers, taking and fulfilling orders.
  • Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment with precision and care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized barista station and dining area.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to work long hours.
  • Excellent culinary skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Creative in coming out with new menu items from time to time.

Housekeeping

  • Proven experience in Housekeeping or a cleaning role is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot cleanliness issues.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple rooms or areas.

Must be willing to work in Gelugor, Penang.
