Barista @Cafe Mesra Petronas(Penang & Terengganu)

Location: Pulau Pinang, Terengganu
Multiple Positions Available From Bayan Lepas, Seberang Jaya, and Paka

Requirements:

1. Minimum education qualification: SPM
2. 1-2 years related experience preferably in F&B preparation and customer service.
3. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply. Knowledge in Food Hygiene Regulations is an added advantage.
4. Connecting & engaging with customers. Maintain a clean & organized environment.
5. Upselling on food, beverage & merchandise.
6. Provide quality beverage & food products.
7. Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
8. Ability to work on your own or in teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, according to customer’s order.
2. Serve prepared foods which include but are not limited to pastries, ice cream, and desserts.
3. Operate till drawers or cash registers and issue receipts to customers.
4. Manage multiple payment platforms and process returns or refunds when necessary.
5. Assist in stock arrangement and product merchandising.
6. Ensure counter area is clean and perform dish and utensils cleaning.
7. Manage customers in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
8. Ensure knowledge of F&B menu which includes product, promotion, and pricing.
9. Ensure menu offerings are ready and well prepared.
10. Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues or customer complaints.
11. Ensure Food and Beverage orders are of a consistently good standard and delivered in a timely manner.
12. Practice grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
13. Assist and adhere to the cash management procedures set by the company.
