Job Requirement: Barista

Position Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista to join our café team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean workspace, and providing a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
2. Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines and grinders.
3. Take customer orders, process payments, and handle inquiries about menu items.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including counters, seating areas, and equipment.
5. Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed.
6. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
7. Build positive relationships with customers, creating a friendly and inviting café experience.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
2. Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and familiarity with espresso machines.
3. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
6. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
7. High school diploma or equivalent; barista training or certification is a plus.
