Bakery Retail Assistant

We are looking for enthusiastic and attentive bakery assistants to assist us at the retail side. Your duties shall include promoting baked goods to customers, managing product inventories, taking control of the daily cleanup procedures at the bakery, and other duties as required as a bakery retail assistant.

Job Responsibilities:

• Taking care of product packing, arrangement, refill, and expiry dates tracking.
• Creating a welcoming and positive customer experience in a friendly manner in-house and online.
• Interacting with customers confidently to advise on baked goods selection and taking orders, including processing accurate payments.
• Maintaining and monitoring product displays, including product restock inventory.
• Responding to customer queries with a clear understanding of product information and available offers.
• Listening to customers' needs and concerns in a pleasant manner.
• Acting with initiative and being proactive in resolving customers’ concerns.
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the retail store at all times and performing other duties upon request.
• Following hygiene and food safety procedures.
• Willingness to work shift hours, weekends, and public holidays.

• Excellent customer service with good communication skills; team players with a positive attitude.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Ability to multitask and follow instructions given by management and bakers.
• Only Malaysian applicants will be accepted.
• Bahasa Malaysia and English are essential; ability to converse in Mandarin is preferred.
• Minimum of High School graduates (SPM).
• Interest in F&B or bakery would be an added advantage.
