Daily Production: Oversee and execute daily mass production of pastries, ensuring consistency and high quality. Manage production workflows to optimize kitchen efficiency.
Quality Control: Ensure all pastries meet high-quality standards and maintain consistency in taste and appearance. Implement and adhere to quality control procedures and guidelines.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen manager and other staff to coordinate production and streamline processes. Provide training and guidance to junior pastry staff on techniques and best practices.
Performance Tracking: Track and analyze the performance of new recipes and production processes. Adjust recipes and methods based on feedback and performance metrics.
Creativity and Presentation: Bring creativity and flair to pastry presentation, contributing to the visual appeal of all products. Stay updated with pastry trends and incorporate new ideas into the menu.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience: Diploma or degree in Pastry Arts, Baking, Culinary Arts, or a related field. At least 1-2 years of experience in pastry production (fresh graduates with strong skills are welcome). Experienced in making bread and other baked goods. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredient functions, and baking science. Experience in mass production and recipe scaling. Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations. Creativity & Innovation: Passionate about baking and developing new recipes. A keen eye for pastry presentation and aesthetics. Proactive in researching and incorporating new trends. Teamwork & Leadership: Supportive and a team player who works well with others. Takes ownership and responsibility for tasks. Ability to guide and mentor junior pastry staff. Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Coachable and willing to learn new skills and techniques.
