It is a new role,
Candidate must have NSE7 or CCNP (Security).

Company is looking for a Network Security Engineer/Consultant to join the team. The required role will be a senior role in the Network Team in a System Integrator Environment. The successful candidate should be at least CCNP/PCNSE/NSE4 level and able to design, deploy & support from simple to complex network security architecture including but not limited to the solutions such as End-Point Security, Multi-Layer Firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, NTA, ATP, Web/email security, Security Log Management, Network Security Assessment, Proxy, Load Balancers, WAF, DLP, etc.

Responsibilities

1. Acts as Senior Network Security Engineer/Consultant in the Team for multiple projects in Pre & Post-sales Network Security Design, implementation & Support.
2. Maintaining Presales relationship with client’s technical stakeholders.
3. Has thorough knowledge of ICT infrastructure technology inter-dependencies.
4. Initiatives Develop and Implement the network segmentation strategy for the client.
5. Evaluate new security technologies which can better improve efficiencies and security posture to meet customer's business objectives.
6. Provide knowledge transfer/sharing to engineering colleagues & customers.

Required Skills and Experience

1. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
2. Mature, self-motivated, proactive, aggressive, and independent.
3. Strong self-starter with a proven track record of accomplishment.
4. Required to speak fluently and write in English and Malay.
5. Candidates should have their own transport; possess a valid driving license and passport.
6. Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
7. Good understanding of Network Routing and Switching, Wireless, DNS, Firewall, WAF, IPSEC/GRE, Load Balancer, APT, IPS, IDS, VPN, Endpoint Security, DLP, SIEM, NTA, etc.
8. Fortinet Security Product/Solution Experience will be an advantage.
9. Minimum 4 years’ experience of supporting at least 3 of the following technologies: Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet (Preferred), Juniper, Ruckus, Palo Alto, CheckPoint, Sophos, Trend Micro, Symantec, F5, Imperva, etc.
