Description:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Developer and DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions on Azure for DLM products—Infinite, Abacus, IPOS, and DSPnext—while streamlining development and deployment processes through DevOps practices to enhance productivity and reliability.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native applications on the Microsoft Azure platform.
2. Collaborate with software developers to understand requirements and translate them into functional cloud solutions.
3. Utilize Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Logic Apps, and Azure SQL.
4. Implement and manage Azure API Management for secure and scalable API services.
5. Develop and maintain microservices and serverless architectures using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Functions.

Data Transformation:

1. Develop and implement data transformation solutions using Java and Python within Azure environments.
2. Work with structured and unstructured data, leveraging data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar.

Data Integration:

1. Extract data from on-premises databases and applications using Azure Data Factory and other data integration tools.
2. Design and implement ETL processes to transform and load data into Azure cloud databases (SQL and NoSQL).
3. Ensure data consistency, integrity, and quality throughout the data pipeline.
4. Load transformed data into cloud-based databases such as Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, or other Azure data storage solutions.

Database Management, SQL and NoSQL Databases:

1. Manage, optimize, and maintain relational databases (SQL) and non-relational databases (NoSQL) on Azure, such as Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, and others.
2. Design database schemas, write complex SQL queries, and create stored procedures.
3. Implement best practices for database design, management, and security.

Performance Optimization:

1. Perform database fine-tuning, indexing, query optimization, and performance monitoring to ensure optimal database performance.
2. Conduct regular housekeeping activities, including database backups, restores, and updates.
3. Monitor database performance and implement performance optimization techniques to enhance efficiency and response times.
4. Address data integrity issues and manage data migration, replication, and archiving processes.
5. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other related tools.
6. Automate the deployment process and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
7. Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery best practices to streamline the development lifecycle.

DevOps Tools Implementation:

1. Integrate and manage DevOps tools like SonarQube for code quality analysis, Black Duck for security and license compliance, Coverity for static code analysis, and Octopus Deploy for deployment automation.
2. Conduct tool evaluations and provide recommendations for improving existing DevOps processes.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
2. 6 to 8 years of experience in Azure Cloud Development and DevOps.
3. Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Developer and/or DevOps Engineer (3 to 5 years).
4. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure services and infrastructure.
5. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
6. Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
7. Experience with Java and Python for data transformation and ETL processes.
8. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
9. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
