Work you will do

Deloitte’s Engineering offers help to enable organization’s end-to-end journey from on-premise legacy systems to the cloud, from design through deployment, and leading to the ultimate destination—a transformed organization primed for growth. As a Cloud Engineer, you will help build and connect sustainable cloud-native systems to thrive in the cloud ecosystem. Services include:

• Assets & Industry Solutions

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bitbucket pipelines, Azure DevOps, or AWS Code pipeline to streamline deployments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for efficient resource provisioning and management.
• Monitor system performance, optimize cloud costs, and ensure compliance with security best practices using AWS monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, GuardDuty, AWS Config, and Dynatrace.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance cloud-native applications and troubleshoot production issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
• Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of DevOps tools and infrastructure.
• Administer and manage DevOps tools, including SonarQube and Nexus Repository.
• Perform Atlassian administration, including Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence management.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in AWS Cloud DevOps engineering, with expertise in core AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, and EKS.
• At least 1 year of experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Strong foundation in Linux/Windows system administration, networking, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• In-depth understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VPC, VPC peering, security groups, virtual private networks (VPN), application gateways, and Route 53.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell is a plus.
