Prepare and review on the accuracy of financial and regulatory reporting.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and monitoring of regulatory limits and ratios.
Financial analytics and reports preparation for financial insights and to support stakeholder’s decision making.
Business partner role – key liaison with business on launch and implementation of new products and services covering accounting treatment, reporting requirements, impact assessments, etc.
Statutory audit – preparation of audited financial statements/schedules, clearing of audit queries, coordinating with auditors, etc.
Develop strategies and robust internal controls to minimize financial risk and to govern compliance of financial regulations and standards.
Ad-hoc tasks assigned by immediate superior.
Requirements:
Minimum 7 to 10 years' experience in relevant field.
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance and/or professional qualification in accounting.
Technical/Functional Skills:
Experience professional who possesses strong auditing skills and understanding of internal control systems within a financial institution.
In-depth knowledge of accounting and finance.
Diverse business management concepts and statutory requirements.
Knowledge and understanding of Bursa, Securities Commission and Bank Negara Malaysia requirements are added advantage.
