JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

What you will do :

Board Committee and Management Meetings

• Assist the Company Secretary in the overall supervision of Board and Board Committee Meetings.
• Overall Supervision of Board meetings at Subsidiary/Joint Venture Level.

Corporate Governance:

• Implement plans to ensure “best in class” compliance with the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance and international best practices.

Compliance:

• Assist the Compliance Head to ensure compliance with statutory requirements as required under the Companies Act/Regulations, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and other relevant legislations, both within and outside Malaysia.
• Related Party Transactions.

Who you are :

• Over 7 years of relevant experience in company secretarial or legal firms.
• A law degree is considered an added advantage.
• This position requires maturity and good communication skills as he/she will be dealing closely with the executive secretaries of the Directors and Chief Executive Officer.
• This position requires efficiency and good time management in order to ensure that statutory and corporate documents are filed and maintained properly and confidentially.
• This position requires good planning and organisational skills as he/she is responsible for coordinating high-level meetings namely, Shareholders’ and Board of Directors’ meetings.
• This position requires basic knowledge of company secretarial responsibilities and practices in order to support the Assistant Company Secretaries in discharging their responsibilities.
