Job Purpose

To coordinate product pricing, credit control, and business planning functions in line with the company overall business growth.

The Job

1. Coordinate resources within the business finance department to meet company overall business growth.
2. Become the main liaison person representing the department as well as one of the liaison persons with regulators on product pricing matters.
3. Provide technical support/advice to the team including but not limited to product pricing, credit control, and business planning issues.
4. As part of the leadership team, work with key stakeholders to proactively shape the organisation’s culture and conduct environment that is aligned to the organization’s core values.
5. Champion culture and conduct behavioral expectations within the Department/Division.
6. Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
7. Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats, and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
8. Highlight any potential concerns/risks and proactively share best risk management practices.

Our Requirements

1. Degree in Actuarial Science, preferably with actuarial professional qualification from a recognised body such as CAS, SOA, IFoA.
2. Minimum 5 years working experience.
3. Equipped with competencies such as leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, impact, business expertise, business acumen, job functional knowledge.
4. Demonstrates alignment with the organisation’s core values through expected behaviours.
5. High level of integrity, takes accountability of work, and has a good attitude towards teamwork.
6. Takes initiative to improve the current state of things and is adaptable to embrace new changes.
