Ansell is looking for an Automation Engineer to join our team in Malacca, Malaysia.

In this position, you will play a vital role in complex automation systems to improve existing systems, create new ones, and conduct rigorous testing to ensure top performance and provide user training.

What your role will be?

• To be aware of the company’s Quality Policy, Occupational Safety & Health Policy, and Environmental Policy.
• To be aware, committed, and responsible towards environmental practices in safeguarding the environment and in compliance with environmental requirements.
• Designing and developing new automation systems and improvements to existing ones.
• Testing and debugging automation systems to ensure smooth deployment.
• Conducting validation and risk assessment for automation systems and developing specifications and safety protocols.
• Integrating automation systems with existing factory hardware/machines.
• Updating system documentation and creating SWI to provide user training.
• Ensuring all automation activities comply with regulatory standards.
• Working with other engineers to troubleshoot and improve processes and efficiency.
• Performing routine maintenance and system checks to ensure functionality.
• Taking an active part in all packing-related continuous improvement projects.

What will you bring to Ansell?

• Degree in Robotic, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Instrumentation Engineering, or its equivalent.
• Knowledge of automation and robotics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
• Software testing and troubleshooting, control systems, and AutoCAD.
• Project management skills.
