Job Description

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Tricentis TOSCA to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of applications.
• Create and manage test cases, modules, and test data using the Model-Based Test Automation (MBTA) approach in TOSCA.
• Automate end-to-end testing processes for web, mobile, and desktop applications while ensuring compatibility across various platforms and environments.
• Configure and implement continuous integration (CI) pipelines for automated testing using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Perform risk-based testing by prioritizing critical workflows and functionalities, leveraging TOSCA’s risk coverage optimization features.
• Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks and libraries to enhance efficiency and scalability of test processes.
• Integrate TOSCA with test management tools such as JIRA, qTest, or ALM for seamless traceability and reporting.
• Conduct API testing using TOSCA API Scan to validate service-level functionalities and ensure secure communication between components.
• Monitor and analyze test execution results, logging defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues promptly.
• Optimize test performance by identifying bottlenecks, improving test execution speed, and maintaining test environment stability.
• Implement automated regression testing to ensure that new releases or updates do not adversely impact existing functionalities.
• Stay updated with the latest TOSCA features and advancements to continuously improve testing strategies and capabilities.
• Train and mentor team members on TOSCA usage and best practices to enhance overall team productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tricentis TOSCA.
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks and concepts, including Model-Based Test Automation (MBTA).
• Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC), quality assurance principles, and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with TOSCA’s components such as Test Case Design, Test Data Management, and API Scan.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Bamboo for automated test execution.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like VBScript, Python, or JavaScript for customizations within TOSCA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex testing challenges.
• Experience in integrating TOSCA with defect management and test management tools like JIRA, qTest, or ALM.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Certification in Tricentis TOSCA (e.g., Automation Specialist Level 1 and 2) is highly preferred.
